The Coffee: A multi-varietal AA selection roasted light comes from the Murarandia FCS in Murang'a, Kenya. The coffee is bright and sweet lending to a juicy cup that's layered with flavor. We note tropical fruits, grapefruit, plum, brown sugar, and hints of green tea. Paired with a heavy body and syrupy texture, this coffee is big in the cup. This coffee "rests" very well and can be enjoyed over long periods after the roast date and brews up great in any format.
The Producer: This is a multi-varietal production of SL-28, SL-34, Ruiru-11. A washed processed coffee by the Murarandia Farmers' Cooperative Society. This cooperative lot comes from the Kikuyu Community of Murang'a County in Central Kenya, an area known for coffees with sparkling and complex acidity. Not to mention is their attention to detail in grading and sorting of the harvests. It is world-class.
