Arabela Pereira Lima Brazil
Dark Chocolate | Honey | Sweet Orange | Heavy Body
Region: Mogiana
Elevation: 1250 MASL
Varietals: Catuaí
Process: Natural
The Coffee: A single varietal, Catuaí, and microlot selection from Mogiana, Brazil. This full-natural processed coffee is roasted medium. The cup is dark chocolate and honey with backdrop of sweet orange on the finish and hints of butterscotch as it cools. It's a very heavy cup with smooth texture and very mild acidity. We love this coffee brewed up in all formats from drip/pour over on through to espresso and everything in between.
The Producer: This coffee comes from second generation farmer Miss Arabela Pereira Lima and is grown at her farm, Nova Esperança. From growing up on the farm to attending the college of agronomy, her life has been immersed in coffee and as she said, "....has become a passion and I can’t imagine myself working with any other thing." Coffees at Nova Esperança are grown in single varietal lots, while utilizing the Brazilian benchlands climate to process their full-natural coffees.
