The Coffee: A unique pairing of a light roast that's heavy in body and viscous in texture. Earthy chocolate tones, sweet green grape and minerality all while finishing with very mild acidity is the big picture in this cup. This coffee brews up great in all formats from drip/pour over to espresso and everything in between. Filtered brew is highly approachable as a fresh roast and will hold up great with ample rest and as it rests the sweet green grape comes comes to the front of the cup creating a balanced and smooth experience. For espresso, please allow this coffee ample rest greater then a week before pulling.

The Producer: This coffee is a community lot representing remote villages and its smallholder farms from the Simbai region adjacent to the Bismarck Range. Due to the remote location of these villages, coffees in this region are transported by airplane to be processed. And in fact, some farmers have a day’s journey from their farm to the airfields to load their harvest. An arduous journey for the coffee and farmer all so they can access the supply chain.
